There's a "three things" meme going around. where you ask someone for three things you might or might not know much about, and then write about them in your blog. I got these fromng_moonmoth.

Yarn - I <3 Yarn. I am a Knitter and so I have quite a bit of yarn. :) Yarn is a type of thread or string made from spun fiber. It can be made in a wide variety of materials, color & texture. It can be animal fiber like wool or silk, or it can be plant fiber like cotton. It can be found at a pretty wide price range, from commercial stuff at walmart to hand made one of a kind pieces. Good for knitting, crocheting, weaving & general crafting.

Bicycle - I don't have much experience with bicycles, even thought I do admire them. They seem so useful and fun. I rode as a kid but not much after about age 10 I think. Now-a-days I live in hill country, & in a not bike friendly area. Cars are much more common. My depression and lack of experience & resource also don't make biking very attractive right now. Hoping when we move to move somewhere more bike friendly.

Griddle - Cooking surface that is flat and nonstick. I think of griddles in professional kitchens mostly. Like the diner scene with someone making pancakes or burgers. I use skillets at home for most things. I do have a bit cast iron piece that is a flat griddle on one side & a grill griddle on the other.

comments
