Instead of a New Years Resolution I am setting a theme for the year ahead. My theme for 2018 is Get Organized! This includes my house, my budget/money, & my mental & physical health. - In 18 states lawmakers are forcing up the minimum wage on Jan. 1. Yay! Too bad Tx isn't one of them.

- 9 Global Stories from 2017 that you may have missed I missed all of them.
- LA Library letting kids pay of fines by reading more. What a neat idea to get kids to keep reading & using the library!
- People who read Harry Potter as kids are more accepting people. Good to see a study backing up what years of fandom have shown me.
- Interview of the Oral History of Reading Rainbow. Wow, what a read. Long but very interesting.
